Computational Analysis of Social and Organizational Systems (CASOS) Summer Institute Workshop

Date: Jul 05, 2015 – Jul 12, 2015

The CASOS Summer Institute is a week-long workshop hosted by CASOS, the Center for
Computational Analysis of Social and Organizational Systems, at Carnegie Mellon University,
Pittsburgh, PA. During the year, our faculty and students conduct research using powerful
analytical tools developed by the lab director, Dr. Kathleen Carley. This year the Summer
Institute will be held from July 5-12, 2015.

The Summer Institute is an opportunity for researchers and analysts from private industry,
education, government, and military to get hands-on training with CASOS tools used for
mapping networks, analysis, and simulation. Presenters include everyone in CASOS as well as
outside collaborators and students. Interaction with the software during the Institute will be
hands-on and we encourage participants to bring their own data.

The featured tools are ORA, Automap, and Construct which you can read about and download
from the CASOS website.

More information can be found on the CASOS website, including online registration:
