The 2026 HCSS Conference will take place at the Historic Inns of Annapolis in Annapolis, May 11–13, 2026. This historic property in the heart of downtown spans three beautifully preserved buildings, each just a short two- to three-minute walk apart: the 1727 Governor Calvert House (main conference location), the 1765 Robert Johnson House, and the 1776 Maryland Inn. All HCSS conference activities will be held in the Governor Calvert House.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Historic Inns of Annapolis at the current U.S. government per diem rate. These discounted rates are available for stays from Sunday, May 10 through Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The reservation deadline is April 7, 2026; however, we strongly encourage booking early, as the room block is expected to fill.
