The Science of Security: Perspectives and Prospects

Abstract: Within the last few years there has been a steadily increasing interest in establishing the Science of Computer Security, starting, at least, as far back as the joint NSF/ IARPA/NSA workshop on the topic in the Fall of 2008. However, from a certain perspective there is actually a much longer history of advances in Computer Security that would qualify as being scientific.

9th International Symposium on Trustworthy Global Computing

Submitted by Anonymous on

The Symposium on Trustworthy Global Computing is an international annual venue dedicated to secure and reliable computation in the so-called global computers, i.e., those computational abstractions emerging in large-scale infrastructures such as service-oriented architectures, autonomic systems, and cloud computing. The TGC series focuses on providing frameworks, tools, algorithms, and protocols for rigorously designing, verifying, and implementing open-ended, large-scaled applications.
